The students of Grandfather Academy experience improved learning opportunities through individual classes structured in such a way to maintain peer groups intact so they continue to function as therapeutic peer groups throughout the school day. Children receive individualized education designed to maximize academic strengths and allow a safe opportunity to gain proficiency in areas of underachievement. The program will provide an emotionally-supportive environment to allows children to experience academic success, often for the first time in their life and empowering them to achieve their potential. Successful blending of treatment and education allows students the opportunity to succeed in academics and every area of their lives.
On average, there are 40-50 Students enrolled at Grandfather Academy.
Student grade levels range from Kindergarten – 12th grade.
There are 210 instructional days scheduled per year.
